Wood Plastic Composite

mixture of recycled wood shavings, resin, pigments, and stabilisers.This new material allies aesthetics with the natural quality of wood to offer both durability and resin-type malleability. There are numerous different applications, from terrace decking, facade coverings, structural construction, flooring... to partition walls.

Creating a hardwood equivalent using EINWOODB. technology

After EINWOODB. has been extruded, it can then be sanded and finished like other natural wood products. WPCC has also patented a process to add wood grain to the product, and the result is a product that looks exactly like natural wood. Furthermore, EINWOODB. graining technology can be used to emulate almost any species of wood.

Durability

EcotechWoodB. resists b  over long periods of time b  the damaging effects of water, sunshine, frost, rot, insects and does not require any particular treatment. It is naturally durable with permanent colouring, evenly distributed throughout the material. It is built to last, and is extremely dense which helps prevent humidity from penetrating.

The quality of the materials used and its painstaking manufacture mean that EcotechWoodB. is endowed with qualities superior to those of other wood composites, but also to those of wood itself, with its natural appearance being complemented by characteristics such as low-slip, permanent wood colour, extended durability, malleability and sandability.

1. Suitable for all-weather constructions, even though untreated

EcotechWoodB. planking used for terracing needs no treatment, and is the ideal alternative to using hardwood. Unlike teak, for example, EcotechWoodB. does not fade or turn grey.

2. Non-slip surface, grained and structured to make it extra safe

The wooden surface is non-slip under all conditions, and in all weathers, making it ideal for outside use.

3. No more splinters

EcotechWoodB. does not splinter, warp or fissure. The sawn planks have perfectly true edges, and are safe to walk on barefoot, or for children to play on.

4. Consistent quality

Our terracing planks are of highest quality throughout their entire length. Our unique and patented production process allows close monitoring of every phase of manufacture.

5. Easy clean

EcotechWoodB. is a patented, non-visible fixing system for decking boards. Whether in soft or hard wood, in wood composite or in plastic, the EcotechWoodB. system is the ultimate solution in terms of speed and ease of installation, providing a superbly smooth and splinter-free finish. When exposed to all weathers, decking boards expand and shrink with variations in temperature and humidity so that screwing them to a structure is counter-productive. Not only is the lifespan of the terrace or deck reduced, traditional screw fixings for decking, pool surrounds or pathways suffer ongoing wear and tear until they eventually give way.

Rapid installation

The special wing sections on our patented clips guarantee a perfect longitudinal AND lateral expansion for the board, and also ensure regular and consistent distances between boards: the adverse effects of variations in volume and length of the wood are in this way avoided. EcotechWoodB. enables rapid and precise installation of your decking boards. The clip is fixed with just one screw where other systems require two, making the system extra economical.

Installing EcotechWoodB.

EcotechWoodB. is installed very quickly and easily using standard tools. The polypropylene clips ensure precise fitting and guarantee even distancing between planks. No screws will be visible, and consequently the fitter avoids wounds often sustained when installing with classical screw fittings.
Sawing: EcotechWoodB. can be sawn in the same way as wood. Using carbide treated saw blades or blades designed for cutting aluminium, the result will be perfect every time, with a clean, square cut free from splintering.
Clips: Terrace planks are fixed using the hidden fastener clip system along stainless steel screws. Screwing the planks directly is not recommended, as in this case they will work against the natural expansion of the planking due to absorption of humidity and variations in temperature.
Sanding: A terrace can be rapidly restored to its former glory or ugly stains removed by simply sanding the surface of the plank with rough quality sandpaper (18 or 24) or using a band sander. Always sand along the planks in a longitudinal direction.
Finishing: Terrace edges can be easily finished using end-caps or finishing planks like fascia boards. All accessories are available in the range of standard colors.

Our planking constitutes an excellent alternative to treated wood or hardwood whenever respect for the environment is of concern since it conforms to the 3 R's: Reduced energy consumption for production cycle, distribution and installation. Reuseable, resins can be recycled, and wood particles - incinerated in the past - can also be retrieved. Recyclable: our sections are 100% recyclable and can be reused to generate new planks or sectio Our planking is 100% recyclable and is manufactured from local raw materials, including wood and resins. Our production site is economical in both energy terms and water consumption, and does not produce secondary pollution. The production process causes a minimum of adverse side-effects, and does not generate waste or pollutants. The manufacture, installation and recycling of our product qualifies EcotechWoodB. under the French environmentally friendly label "Haute QualitC) Environnementale" (HQE)
